About Farmer City
Farmer City has a population of 2,200 and is located between Bloomington and Champaign on Interstate 74. State Routes 150 and 54 run through the city making it a commuter’s paradise. Farmer City, the “One and Only”, earns its slogan as the only community of that name in the United States Zip Code directory. This community has its own police and fire departments, public library, swimming pool and power plant.
